Shanna Sprinkle, MD (@Sprinkle_MD, www.sprinklemd.com) is a PGY-5 general surgery resident at Duke University. She is currently in her research years, during which she has focused on several ed-tech related projects and founded Duke’s Surgical Education Research Group. Dr. Sprinkle is interested in big data, data visualization, educational design and the use of technology to improve patient care and surgical training.
