The hardest part of a large, vague task like “study for the ABSITE” is getting started. It helps to have a plan, but plans take time and frontal lobe power–surgery residents have little of either to spare!

Here’s a shortcut. Below are some example study plans based on popular ABSITE study materials. Seeing the task broken down into smaller, doable chunks helps make the task seem surmountable. Doing a little bit everyday can really help you out in the weeks leading up to the test!
